Hello hello hello!!!! Today’s #waybackwednesday catch-up post is pretty fitting, seeing as Cleveland is a little confused these days and thinks that it is already FALL!!! Haha! I wanted to share some of my mini-sessions from last October and November. You may recognize some of these kiddos as they are some of my favorite repeat clients & definitely no stranger to the blog/facebook :)
This first session took place at Edgewater Park on quite possibly the windiest and CHILLIEST day of the fall!! (Mother Nature giving us a little preview of the winter I guess..:P ) Poor Lucy was FREEZING and didn’t want to leave mom’s warm hugs, but we still managed to get some cute shots :)
One of my favorite mom-daught pics EVER!! :)
This next session was with my nanny kiddos that I love so so much — we had a blast adventuring around the metroparks & playing in the rocks!!
How gorgeous is Toni?!?! I was sort of in shock when she told me she chopped off her hair…but it’s AWESOME & she totally rocks it :) :)
These next family photos are SO MUCH FUN & totally capture that Vickers spirit :P
Oh Nate :) What a stud!!
And then we have Ella & Claire :) You might recognize these two from Henry’s Newborn Session — where they ROCKED their big sister shoot! Lots of love with these two :) Those eyes!!!
Who knew leaves could be so FUN?! :)
We busted out the rain boots for some water fun near the end :) SO cute!!
And yes, their matching outfits are adorable :)
Next up — Kate, Doug, & ANGIE!!! Haha, Kate is one of my work besties & I had heard a lot about Angie…but never quite realized just how BIG she was until we met this beautiful Fall day!!! :)
Angie pretty much stole all of the attention during this session :)
But we made sure to take a few quick shots of just Kate & Doug!!! Love these ones :)
Last but definitely not least, we have Mike & Becky’s downtown mini-session!!! This was my first time shooting in the city, and it was SO much fun!!! Very fitting of these two & their hipster selves :P Mike is probably the biggest Cleveland fan I know, so of course we got some shots of his hat!!
So much laughter :)
And that’s a wrap!!!! Haha, this post ended up being a lot longer than I thought it would be & I probably could have broken it up into a few separate guys…buuuut that’s no fun :) Hope you all are having a WONDERFUL week — and just in case you missed my big #instie sneak peek last night, I’ll go ahead and share one last photo with you all from the ‘gram…That’s right folks, my brand new website is ALMOST DONE!!! As much as I love this little wordpress space, I am SO. EXCITED. to have a place of my own — full of beautiful photos, fun sliders, sassy golds, and pretty hand-lettering :) Be on the lookout for some more peeks at its awesomeness…can’t wait to finally launch it in the next few weeks!! EEK!!!!
:) Happy Wednesday!
Love love love,
So, if you are friends with Amanda & Dave, you are probably a little confused as to why their engagement photos are hitting the blog on this beautiful day in July…Ha!!! In fact, even if you don’t know these two you might recognize them from their snowy March wedding post!! And even if you missed that post too…the fall leaves should probably have given you a little hint that soooomething might be off :P
I confess: it was me :) I took a bit of a blogging break during this past fall of my first year of teaching, so there are quite a few beautiful sessions that were never shared outside of Facebook!! So, in honor of #waybackwednesday (and because who wants to wait until #throwbackthursday?!?!), I have decided to share some of these sessions with you for the next couple of weeks!
First up on the list is Dave and Amanda :) I had SUCH a great time photographing these two — we hadn’t met before their E-session, but Amanda’s sister Lindsey (a close friend of mine) had warned me of Dave’s crazy beard!! Ahh!!! I was all prepared to photograph this bad boy, so you can imagine my surprise when they stepped out of their truck to reveal a clean-shaven Dave!! Haha!! Obviously I pointed out my disappointment, which set off some shared laughter that didn’t stop until the session ended :) Dave and Amanda are such a wonderful couple — the love they have for each other and their confidence in their feelings and value brings such an EASE that really shines through their relationship. Enjoy!! (and sorry for not blogging this sooner! Haha!)I just LOVE the beautiful fall colors — I’m not sure we could have had a better backdrop than these gorgeous leaves!!! Love these last few…the lighting was PERFECT & so so so romantic!!
Gah!!! I mean, does this not have you just SO excited for FALL and BOOTS and PUMPKIN and LEAVES or what?!? Actually never mind I still want summer…but you know what I’m sayin’ :)
Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful beautiful day outside!!! Happy Wednesday :)
love love love,
(Oh yeah, and if you never saw these two on their AMAZING wedding day blog post mentioned above…you should probably check that out too :P)
After a fun morning romping around Cleveland, the Os are in rest-mode: Chris & Dennis are watching the Pacer’s and Terri is napping, so I decided it would be a perfect time to throw together a quick post to share some fun photos from our adventure!
While Chris & I are definitely #teamWestSide, we decided it was a good day to venture over to the East side of Cleveland, and I am so glad we did! After showing off the Clinic & all of it’s awesomeness, we decided Little Italy was calling our name!! But of course, we got a bit turned around a few times & ended up touring a beautiful cemetery first…which I wasn’t a bit sad about :)
(All of these photos were taken out of the car window as we drove…HAHA!)
After making it out of the maze, we finally arrived at Little Italy : a unique little spot full of eclectic designs & historic buildings.
As we were walking around admiring the different shops & bakeries, I kept noticing different fire hydrants, so I decided to snap a pic of a few :) Who knew they could be so fun?!
I especially LOVED all of the different texture & patterns on all of the buildings. Old meeting new…sigh :)
Chris made such a cute model :P
And talk about these fun DOORS!! Oh my goodness, how cool are these?!?! So much character! I’m obsessed.
I also thought this little tomato holder thing on the right was so neat :)
After walking around for a while, we decided to grab a pizza pie at Mama Santa’s…yummy!!! Probably the best pizza place in the world, and it smells SO. STINKIN. GOOD!!!
With full bellies & happy hearts, we headed back to the car! As we walked, Terri pointed out these adorable steps & cute bench — LOVE them so much!!
I just loved getting to see all of the CHARACTER, history, & pizzaz of Little Italy — definitely a unique place with lots to offer! :) Hope you are all having a wonderful Saturday too. For my Cleveland friends, I would LOVE to hear from you about your favorite parts of Cleveland!!! What are your go-to spots when people come to visit? Comment below & let me know!
